Things You'll Need:
- Computer
- Design Software
- Photos
-
Step 1
The first thing you need to decide is where you want to get them printed, this will help you determine the size. I suggest vistaprint.com for a full magnet. Or you can have your local photo lab print off any size print you like, then go to the craft store and buy some adhesive magnetic strips to apply to the back.

Step 2
created by Colorphotopro.comOnce you have chosen you size you can start your design. Using a design program and your photos on your computer. A few ideas is crop you image to the desired size and add your names, monogram and/or date. This is a clean and classic approach. If you would like something to match you wedding colors, place your image somewhere on your sized canvas, add your colors to the background. Choose a scripted font for a formal look. Look at your invitations to help you create a theme.
-
Step 3
created by Colorphotopro.comIf you have more time and skills. Think about adding some more design elements like strips, circles or swirls. Use one of your photos faded in the background (to do this lower the opacity of the image). Don't rush this process, keep working on it until you love it. Sometimes you may need to take a break and refresh.
-
Step 4
created by Colorphotopro.comIf you are uncomfortable doing the design work many companies can design them for you for still a nominal fee, or you can use a drop and drag, fill in the blank template. Vistaprint.com and many other wedding sites offer these services.
