A squeaky door can be annoying to say the least. This is something that is easy to fix there are a number of way to correct this problem , I will tell you the easy way to do it

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • WD-40
  • candle wax
  1. Step 1

    That squeaky door hinge can be fixed with just a small spay of luberocation. You can use WD-40 , Just give the hinge a quick spray with WD-40 & move the door back & forth a few time . That will fix the problem most of the time.

  2. Step 2

    If a quick spay of WD-40 didn't fix the problem , them you may need to remove the hinge pins & give it a good lube with some oil or light grease. Just about any oil will do , even cooking oil. Tap out the hinge pins & dip them in the oil or coat then with grease .Tap the pin back in & wipe off the excess oil or grease

  3. Step 3

    If you don't want to use WD-40 , oil or grease, that may run or stain the area. Candle wax or bee's wax works good. Remove all the hindge pins. Take a white candle or bee's wax & coat the pins & the parts of the hinge that rub together, Re-hang the door & replace the hinge pins.
