Having a fun blog will bring you regular readers. It also makes work feel more like play. If you are trying to blog for money, sometimes it shows that you are just in it for the cash & you never build a following. Here is how to make your blog fun.

1. Give things away. People love free stuff. This can be something simple like a free blog graphic, or a gift card. If you are trying to build your readership, ask that whoever enters the contest link back to you for another entry.

2. Praise other people. Make friends with other bloggers by leaving them comments on their blogs. If you know who your readers are it's easier to write things that people will want to read. Plus, you get to build relationships with people that you wouldn't have otherwise met.

3. Love your niche. Sure there are probably other niches out there that make more money, but if you aren't passionate about them it can be difficult to write daily. This means that your blog will die off in a few months & it will be a painful experience to keep up in the mean time.
