Things You'll Need:
- large grapevine wreath
- wired ribbon (size and color your choice)
- seeded fruit or glittered fruit
- poinsettas
- floral tape
- floral wire
- spray paint (color of your choice)
- hot glue gun
-
Step 1
First spray paint the wreath white. If you are having trouble with the wreath holding color you will need to primer it before you paint. Then paint the poinsettas or whatever flower you are using to the desired color you want. Make sure you do both sides. If you are using seeded fruit also paint that the color you need.
-
Step 2
As that is drying, take your two ribbons (have one a see through organza type, but it has to be wired) lay those out and over lap the smaller ribbon with larger one. This will save time later.
-
Step 3
Attach the ribbon first, wrapping it around the wreath. Attach the flowers with floral wire, on half or the whole wreath. It is your choice. Hot glue the fruit beside the flowers. Do a sequence of a flower, a fruit, a flower a fruit. Attach aa much as you desire. Make sure you have a strong nail if putting outside to attach it to. Also take a piece of floral wire attatch it to the wreath and the nail. This will prevent it from falling and anyone trying to take off with it.
