  1. Step 1

    Buy New Year's Eve hats, decorations, paper goods, plastic ware and party favors at Walgreen's or a dollar store.

  2. Step 2

    Prepare a spread of easy to fix party foods. Make sure you include deviled eggs, mini corn dogs, chicken wingettes and drumettes , popcorn, peanuts and chips. Be sure to have mustard, barbecue sauce, hot sauce, ranch and blue cheese dressings, and celery and carrot sticks on hand.

  3. Step 3

    Create a nacho platter. Line a large bowl or platter with nachos. Top with seasoned ground beef, refried beans, salsa, hot nacho cheese, guacamole, chopped green onions, sour cream and shredded taco cheese.

  4. Step 4

    Set up a nonalcoholic bar. Include sodas, plain and flavored waters, syrups and garnishes.

  5. Step 5

    Set out a variety of cookies and brownies for dessert.

  6. Step 6

    Show funny, light-hearted movies that are appropriate for all ages.

  7. Step 7

    Play good music for dancing, and encourage everyone to shake their booty.

  8. Step 8

    Stage a karaoke contest.

  9. Step 9

    Have the kids strut their stuff in an impromptu fashion show.

  10. Step 10

    Serve a midnight toast of sparkling white grape juice and sparkling apple cider.
