Everyone who works in a Manor or Nursing home needs to read this. There are a few things you can do to provide better care for them. I will tell you how to be a better provider for their needs. Think safety!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Positive thinking
  • love
  • prayer
  1. Step 1

Remind yourself daily of why you are there. You may think this is a silly question, however it is very important to stay focused on the quality of their care.

  2. Step 2

Keep track of there where abouts. At lunchtime if you notice that a certain person hasn't shown up yet. You may want to go to their room and check on them. They may have fallen. It's important to remember each and everyone's schedule, whether it be when they show up for lunch, to how long they usually stay in the bathroom.

  3. Step 3

Never take light of the simplist of your duties. Think of every person as more than just a number on their door. This is crucial to the well being of the elderly who have been placed in a nursing home. Remember it's more than a job. It's a job about caring for the elderly and preserving their life with quality for the rest of their life.

Tips & Warnings
  • Never just think oh there probably alright.
  • Check on them alot.
  • Tell their families of any noteable changes.
  • Ask them if they would like you to say a prayer with them.
  • Never take their safety for granted.
