Things You'll Need:
- Large Block of Chedder Cheese
- 3-4 tablespoons of Flour
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 3 cups of milk
- salt
- pepper
- 1 large can of tomato sauce
- medium can of diced tomates
- elbow macaroni
- bread crumbs

Step 1
Grate Your Cheese First~www.myrecipes.comPrepare cheese beforehand by grating it and putting it aside. Grease a Glass casserole or pan with butter or non-stick spray.

Make Your Roux~jeenaskitchen.blogspot.comIn a large pot melt butter. After the butter has been melted, add 3-4 tablespoons of flour and begin to mix and make a roux sauce.

Add Your Tomato Sauce~www.myrecipes.comAdd 1 can of the tomato sauce and continue to stir for about 3 minutes. After 3 minutes add in the diced tomatoes, cover and cook for about 45 minutes on simmer. Stir every once in a while. While this is simmering begin making your macaroni.

Add The Grated Cheese~italianfood.about.comAfter the tomato mixture has simmered for about 45 to an hour, take your grated cheese and add it to the mixture. Continue to stir until smooth. Remove from heat.

Pour Macaroni~maxis.communities.com.myTaking your macaroni, pour it into the cheese mixture and stir throughly making sure to coat the macaroni.

on 12/28/2008 I used to make a version of this but with out the tomato sauce and I added monterey jack cheese. I might try this one this week for my husband who doesn't like traditional mac n cheese but this will be different with the added sauce. Thank you for sharing.
