Want a natural way to lighten your hair besides growing old? How about lemons? Lemons are a natural bleaching agent. This is not reccomended for impatient people. It's just a cheap new way to try dying your hair. Lemon juice does not fry your hair as much as hair bleach does. Bleaching your hair too much can kill your hair easily.

Walk outdoors into the hot bright sun. Find a spot that has a lot of sun light. A beach is a good place to do so. That way you can get your tanning on.

    Soaking in the Sun

Sit or lay outside in the sun for at least an hour. The sun is a very important factor with this technique it is what activates the bleaching agents.

  5. Step 5

Reapply lemon juice and repeat steps three and four. This process may take several repeatings depending on how light you want your hair. This does seem like a long time but the natural lightening of your hair is definitely worth it. You save money as well.

on 12/27/2008 I've extensively used lemon all around my house but never on my hair! Might be needing a whole bushel as I have very black hair. Great tips!
