All little artists sometimes miss the paper and hit the wall. While many parents fight with removing this crayon from the wall without removing the wall paint, there is a quick solution to the problem, WD-40.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • WD-40
  • Damp Sponge
  • Paper Towels
  • Soap and Water
  1. Step 1

Spray the crayon. Spray the crayon spot on the wall with WD-40. Be cautious, WD-40 is flammable and should never be used near an open flame.

  2. Step 2

Rub the spot. Using the damp sponge, rub the crayon until the mark is removed from the wall. You may find it easier to work in small areas until the entire larger area is free from crayon markings.

  3. Step 3

Clean the area. After the crayon has been removed from the wall, clean the area with soap and water. WD-40 leaves a strong scent if it is not cleaned off the wall.

  4. Step 4

Dry the wall. Using the paper towels, dry the washed area. If there are any traces of crayon left on the wall, repeat the steps one more time.

Tips & Warnings
  • Never use WD-40 near a heat source or an open flame. WD-40 is flammable.
