Putting tissue paper in gift bags can make or break a gift. I will teach you the easy way to make that tissue paper do what you want and to make your gifts look great...

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Gift
  • Gift bag

Using colorful and/or decorative tissue paper in gift bags can make an "old fashion" gift bag more modern. A simple gift bag more fun. And decorative tissue paper can give a plain bag some character.

  2. Step 2

Place the gift inside the gift bag.

  3. Step 3

Put one sheet of tissue paper (white) flat on your (left) hand and then place the other tissue paper (green) diagonally over it.

If you are using a sheet of solid color and a sheet of decorative tissue paper you will want to place the solid down first and the decorative down next (if your bag has any pattern of any kind). If the bag is solid, reverse the tissue paper so the decorative tissue paper is on the bottom

  4. Step 4
Poke the center of the paper

Slide the "bouquet" inside the bag on one side of the gift.

  8. Step 8

Repeat Steps 3 - 6 making sure to reverse which color you have on the bottom. Slide the "bouquet" down inside the bag on the other side of the gift.

  9. Step 9

Fluff the tissue paper on the inside to make sure the gift is covered. You can leave the tissue paper standing straight up or you can take one side and gently pull the corners of the tissue paper down so they are over the side of the gift bag.
