The author claims that she is a former vampire. After many centuries of being one of the undead she gave it up for the love of a mortal. The book is out of print but can be be found by doing an out of print book search.

2. We all know of how to become a vampire by being bitten. The problem with becoming immortal by the kiss of death is the difficulty of finding a vampire to administer it. The internet has made that a little easier. There are an abundance of forums where vampires and their admirers purport to lurk.

3. Almost any story or tale of vampires also includes werewolves. They are intertwined. What does this have to do with how to become a vampire? It is believed that being killed by a werewolf will turn you into one of the undead. Again, they can be difficult to find, but forums will lead you to your goal.
