EXERCISE - Daily exercise is crucial, even in small amounts. Start by walking 10 minutes per day. Gradually increase your time until you are walking 60 minutes per day. Add weight training three times a week. Start with 5 lb. dumbbells, slowly increasing the number of exercises you do each day. Over time you can increase the weight of the dumbbells. Do weight bearing exercises at least three to five days per week.
