Make Egg Nog Recipe For The Diabetic_Sugar Free Recipe

I love egg nog but the egg nog they have in the dairy case at our local grocery stores are not diabetic friendly. If you are a diabetic or have a loved one that is diabetic and needs sugar free recipes here is an egg nog recipe you should try. I will show you how I made Egg Nog for the diabetic.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 1/3 Cup ice cold water
  • 1/4 Cup nonfat dry milk powder
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 Teaspoon rum flavoring
  • Diet sweetener of choice. (I like stevia)
  1. Step 1

To make Egg nog for the diabetic you start by putting your nonfat dry milk powder and your ice cold water in a glass and mix well.
I made several glasses so I did mine in the blender.

  2. Step 2

In your glass or blender add your eggs and mix well again.

  3. Step 3

Add the vanilla, the rum flavoring, a dash of nutmeg and the diet sweetener/Stevia and mix again.

  4. Step 4

Chill well in refrigerator. Take out of refrigerator and blend a few ice cubes in.
Serve over ice and enjoy knowing that this egg nog is sugar free and won't hurt you.

Tips & Warnings
  • They have Dry whole milk powder, this can be used but adds calories.
  • Don't use to much ice as it will water it down, unless you are using the whole milk powder.
  • You can make more than one cup at a time for a party crowd.
