Draw a Very Simple Cartoon Frog for Kids

I will give you a step by step tutorial on how to draw a really easy cartoon frog. This can be so much fun for young children because of the simplicity of the drawing. Have fun!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • paper
  • pencil
  • colored pencils or other medium
  1. Step 1

Start with a football shape for the head of the frog. Add a curved line to add a smile on the frog's face.

  2. Step 2

Now, add a rounded portion connected to that for the body.

  3. Step 3

Add some humps for the eyes of the frog. Then put some curved lines near the bottom of the body for the legs.

  4. Step 4

Now you can add some slightly bent lines and curved lines for the front legs of the frog.

  5. Step 5

Now you are ready to add the details. . .
Add eyes, toes/feet, and other details to complete your drawing.

  6. Step 6

Make children even more enthused by showing them how changing lines and shapes slightly can create hundreds of different frogs. . .

Tips & Warnings
  • Just have fun creating with your children!
  • Get them excited and praise their creativity!
