Step 1

It is possible to make some money on eBay auctions by buying the right items at garage sales. First it is best to check your local newspapers for the community garage sales. Its far better to go the community ones then drive to individual ones. It costs to much in gas and time to run around to one here and there.
If you are looking to resell on eBay you need to have a plan on what your are looking for. It has been my experience that anything to do with sports and expensive clothing such as Tommy Hilfiger, Abercrombie & Fitch,American Eagle shirts and pants are easy to sell on eBay.

A great way to get the sellers to come down in price say to a dollar or less is have your cute little daughter smile and barging with them, works every time ,lol.
Sporting goods especially kids equipment sell good on ebay.Look for kids ball gloves ,soccer equipment ,ice hockey equipment all are very good to sell on eBay auctions. Make sure whatever you buy is in good condition and not torn up.
If you can get the sports stuff under 5.00 which is not hard, you are good to go.
Other really good items to look for are older gaming systems like Nintendo,Playstation etc. Make sure they work and have all the tv cables and hook ups. I have bought them for 2 to 3 dollars and have had them bid up to 20 to 30 dollars.

A friend of mine sells coupons for disposable diapers and formula that she gets in the mail and gets all kinds of bids.
Place your items on eBay at .99 cents and use parcel post for shipping I usually put shipping in the 5 dollar range which is fair. Shirts can be shipped in a large yellow envelope in the 3.00 range use the large envelope instead of a box and it can be mailed as an oversize envelope which is cheaper.
Most of the time you will get plenty of bids especially on ball gloves for kids and you can make some money. I have sold may items that started out at .99 and ended up over 15 to 20.00.You need to write a good description on eBay so the bidder knows what he is bidding on and take a picture of it,ebay items with no picture do not sell well.
