Things You'll Need:
- Grip/Wax
- Bodyboard
- Optional - Wax Remover
- Optional - Soft Cloth
- Optional - Plastic Scraper
-
Step 1
Apply a light coat to the entire deck (the portion you lay on) of the board and along the sides from the front end of the board to about 1/2 way down the sides to the back. Make small strokes back and forth with the wax, or try small circles.
-
Step 2
Complete the process by applying a thicker coat of wax where your arms /hands are touching the board. The longer you use it, the dirtier your wax will get, however the board will still function correctly. If that's not good enough for you, the final step will explain how to remove the wax.
-
Step 3
Grab a bottle of wax remover from any water-sports store. Rub the wax remover on to the board with a soft cloth, and use a plastic scraper to gently/carefully remove the wax. You can also use boiling water, and pour the hot water on the board and the wax should come off with it.
