This is how to save up to 50% on gas for your car and get better mileage

  1. Step 1

    Buy Smarter

    1.1 GasBuddy.com , GasPriceWatch.com. GasPricesRelief.com all have cheap gas deals

    1.2 Apply for a credit card with a gas saver or fuel cash plan
    almost every credit card has one of these now ,and some times even grocery sotre cards will do the trick

    1.3 Dont buy gas untill you are on your last quarter tank ,carrying less fule means using less fuel


    1.5 Buy the cheapest gass you can and use an octane booster
    get a bottle of octane booster and use a few capfulls with cheap gas

    1.6 buy gas on a wensday or 3 days before a holiday it will be cheaper 9 times out of 10

    Pump smarter

    2.1 Dont top off you are just pouring money on the ground

    2.2 Filler-up in one Trip
    the money you spend going back and forth form the station will cost you more than getting it over with in one go .

  3. Step 3

    Drive smarter

    3.1 Dont peel out ,when you are at a accelerate Sowly

    3.2 Try not to idle,when you idle you are just burning gas and dont rev when you are stopped


    3.3 Turn off the ac your A/C uses tons of gas ,roll down a window and bring some cold water to drink in the car

    3.4 Park in a garage or at least in the shade ,if you park somewhere hot
    your gas just evaporates into thin air

    3.5 Clean out all of the junk in your car ,the more stuff you are toteing around means more weight in your car ,which means you burn more gas

  4. Step 4

    Take care of your car

    4.1 Get a tune up ,this will help for milage

    4.2 Get a more expensive air filter

    4.3 Change your oil and use a synthetic instead of a mineral oil this will REALY increase your gas mileage
