Saving money is not easy, this article is based on some tips that I wanted to share with others in the hopes that it will spark some ideas and ways to save money.

1. Tip 1# Downsize all of your bills. Cell, cable, and anything that can be lowered. Call all the compaines that you do business with and tell them I am downsizing and making a smaller budget this works. I got about twenty dollars knocked off my cable bill just for asking.

   Tip 2# Set a certain amount of money for food a week. Do not overspend and try to spend less. Whatever is left over save it in some savings account. This is hard to do but there are ways to save on food. Make bigger meals and eat the leftovers for next day.

2. Tip 3# Do not eat out, well lets put a limit on the eating out thing. Say maybe twice a month. Make it a treat instead of using it as everday means. This itself will save a lot of money.

   Tip 4# Lower credit card rates. This you can try call the credit card company and ask since you have been a loyal customer ask if they will drop the intrest rate. It is worth a try, it might just work.

3. Tip 5# Rent a room out if you own your home. Say you have 4 bedrooms and you only use 2. Well there is some cash in pocket that you can stick into a savings. Make sure you have your new tentant sign a lease or agreement that way everything is in writing.
