Heat a frying pan with one inch deep cooking oil on medium to medium high heat. You can test the oil with a small piece of bread. If it browns nicely and floats to the top, the oil is ready. Remove the bread after testing.

Re-dip the same strip into the egg mixture. Place, carefully, into the heated frying pan. Continue until you have about four or five strips in the pan. You don't want to overcrowd them, or they will not cook properly.

  11. Step 11

When the bottom of the strips are light golden brown, flip the strips with a tong or spatula. Allow strips to brown on the other side and then remove from oil and place on a paper towel lined plate. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Tips & Warnings
  • For more flavor, soak chicken in a marinade of olive oil, paprika, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Place in a refrigerator for at least thirty minutes before preparing to be cooked.
  • Be careful with hot grease. Oil may splatter up towards your hands or face when placing the chicken strips in the pan.
