Simple methods to help keep off the holiday weight!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • time
  • discipline
  • healthy snacks
  1. Step 1

First, weight yourself before the holidays. You need to use this as a "starting weight." A large percentage of Americans gain weight around the Holidays, due to the number of sweets eaten, parties attended, and large meals consumed. Write this weight down in a journal or notebook. Also, as you start your holiday "party circuit," make sure to drink plenty of water, states renowned weight loss and health guide http://www.e-diet-pill.com. Commit to about a gallon per day for optimal health.

  2. Step 2

Next, make sure you watch what you drink. It's very normal to attend a Holiday party every day on the way up to New Years Eve. This means you most likely will consume cocktails. Try to limit yourself by showing up late to parties, and leaving early. Don't go and change your whole social structure, but make sure you aren't the first one to the keg and last one to siphon a beer out of it!

  3. Step 3

Watch what snacks you eat. Cookies, tamales, (depending on your geographic location), sweets, candies, and cake are common delicacies at such events. Watch what you eat. Eat a balanced meal, so you aren't hungry later on while you hover around the chocolate covered strawberry plate! This will work miracles towards losing weight, as most people find a 6th gear around the dessert dishes. This is where the weight gain really steps up.
