How to Soft Mod a Nintendo Wii Including the Homebrew Channel
The Nintendo Wii, released in 2006, is a home video game console capable of playing games using physical discs and those downloaded via the Internet. Modding is a technique by which the software controls on the system are compromised, allowing users to install and run any software they like. Soft modding is a type of modding that does not require any physical modification of the system. Installing the Homebrew channel in a soft mod allows for the easy download and installation of homebrew software (software which is not authorized by Nintendo).
