How to Personalize a Dog Collar

If your dog is like mine, the dog collar is an important part of the dog. Always worn in public and shown off to compliment the puppy dog, it is no surprise that a boring collar puts a dog right to sleep. Personalize those collars by just a few cute images and your dog will be showing it off to everyone he meets on his walk. Here's how!

1. Use the Be-Dazzle to enhance the collar. A few of those pretty stones in the collar will jazz it right up. Make a design or if you rather use several different colors and just be spontaneous.

2. Dye the Collar to be a rainbow of colors. Surely you have seen the tie dye shirts? The same can be done for the collars. Use light colored plain collars for the best results!

3. Puff paint is a pretty way to perk up those colors. You have bright whites or yellows and you can even use glow in the dark paint on the collar to make it look cool.

4. Consider ironing on patches to the top of the collar. Keep in mind the collar is real thin (about 1- 2 inches wide) but you can easily find thin cute patches to put all around.

5. Another lovely way to show some color is to use a marker. If you are an artist at heart, you can easily draw some beauty all the way around the collar. Consider a traditional design or perhaps puppy dog prints.
