Things You'll Need:
- A Scrub Brush With Small, Fine Bristles
- SoftScrub With Bleach
- Liquid Bleach -OR- a Clorox Bleach Pen
- A Sink Stopper
- Rubber Gloves
-
Step 1
SCRUB THE SINK: Begin by giving the sink a quick once over with the scrub brush to remove any food particles and scum. Rinse the sink once you're finished giving it a quick scrub.
-
Step 2
PUT ON YOUR RUBBER GLOVES: You don't want the liquid bleach or the SoftScrub to come into contact with your skin.
-
Step 3
APPLY A GENEROUS AMOUNT OF SOFTSCRUB WITH BLEACH: SoftScrub With Bleach works wonders to remove sink stains. Squeeze a generous amount of the liquid into the sink and use the scrub brush to spread the soft scrub, using a circular motion.
-
Step 4
APPLY SOME EXTRA SOFTSCRUB TO HEAVY STAINS: If there are any really dark stains, apply a bit of extra SoftScrub to those spots.
-
Step 5
WAIT 10-15 MINUTES: Let the SoftScrub sit on the sink for 10 to 15 minutes to give it time to work on removing the stains from the sink.
-
Step 6
SCRUB THE SINK: Wet your scrub brush and use a circular motion to scrub the sink.
-
Step 7
RINSE THE SINK: Rinse the remaining SoftScrub from the sink and rinse the scrub brush. The vast majority of stains will be gone. Some tough sink stains may remain. If so, move on to Step 8.
-
Step 8
USE A CLOROX BLEACH PEN or LIQUID BLEACH TO REMOVE TOUGH STAINS: For any remaining stubborn sink stains, use a bleach pen. Clorox makes a bleach pen, which delivers bleach in gel form. For larger stains, you can fill the sink with a 50-50 mix of water and bleach and allow it to sit for about 10 minutes.
