Things You'll Need:
- 1 Pair of ear wires
- 2 head pins
- an assortment of beads
- pair of flat nosed pliers
- pair of round nosed pliers
- pair of wire cutters (flush cutters work best)
-
Step 1
tools and suppliesLay out your supplies and tools. I've used gold earwires and gold 1 1/4 inch gold head pins, but you can use the metal color you prefer and the length of headpin that will accommodate your beads.
-
Step 2
beads on headpinPass one headpin through the beads you’ll be using for one earring. I’m using a 4mm crystal bicone, 6mm faceted round, and another 4mm crystal bicone on a 1 1/4 inch head pin.
-
Step 3
bend headpin 45 degrees outwardWith the flat nosed pliers bend the headpin out at a 45 degree angle
-
Step 4
form a loopWith the round nosed pliers, grasp the headpin close to the bend and form a loop with the head pin.
-
Step 5
trim excess wire and finish forming loopUsing the wire cutters, trim off any excess wire.
Finish forming the loop, slip the loop of the earwire into the loop of the head pin and finish closing it. -
Step 6
hand made earringsRepeat for the next earring.

on 12/25/2008 Last year I got a gift bag that had several beads hanging around the top edges. I made several pairs of earrings that looked very much like the ones you have pictured only with pink and light green beads. I gave them as presents and everyone loved them. Thanks for the help on making them without the gift bag begginings!
