How to Organize Summer Vacation with Trip List

Are you planning a summer vacation? If so, simplify your life by using a trip list. This list will eliminate stressful travel preparations, packing, and last minute details. Follow these tips and you will be the person with everything that you need when you walk out the door, and not the person that arrives at the airport without their ticket.

Things You'll Need:

• Personal computer
• Organization skills
• Detailed packing list

1. Start your trip list by searching travel sites the best rates on airline flights, rental cars and hotel accommodations. Make your reservations at least two months in advance. When this task is completed, check it off on your trip list.

2. Note on your list to contact your hotel concierge and arrange for the shuttle to pick you up at the airport or arrange for rental car at airport.

3. Arrange for babysitters, kennel services for pets and or house sitters. When these tasks are confirmed, check off on your list.

4. Next, locate your luggage and make sure you have adequate space for your trip. A weekend piece is perfect for 2-3 days but if you are going to be gone a week, you will need roomier luggage.

5. Confirm that passports and driver's licenses are current. An expired driver's license or passport is not valid identification.

6. Pack for warm weather summer vacation. Women should pack; underwear, sun dress, 2 sorts, 1 pant, 4 t-shirts and one blouse, 2 swim suits, comfortable walking shoes, and sandals,. For men; underwear, 3 shorts, 1 pant, 4 t-shirts, 2 short sleeve camp shirts and 2 swim suits, walking shoes, beach shoes. Coordinate outfits so that you can pack less.

   * Make arrangements for snow to be removed from your walkways
   * Ready your airline tickets, travel information,

   * Emergency contact
   * Watch/travel alarm
   * Laptop, charger
   * Cell phone, charger
   * Vitamins, supplements, medications
   * Toiletries: toothpaste, comb, deodorant, shaving gear, soap,
   * Mask, snorkel, fins, booties
   * Hat, sunscreen, insect repellent
   * Binoculars, nature guide books,
   * Golf Clubs
