People Chow in Gift Bags

People chow, it's also known as puppy chow or Chex Muddy Buddies. It's really good and sweet. It's a nice party mix for any occasion. Try making it with strawberry chex cereal it's even better recipe.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 9 Cups Strawberry Chex Cereal
  • 1 Cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 Cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 Cup butter or margarine
  • 1 1/2 Cups powder sugar
  1. Step 1

You can make your chex mix in the microwave and use several bowls or 1 pan on the stove top. I chose to do it in my big pan.
On low heat mix together butter, peanut butter and chocolate chips. Stir until smooth.

  2. Step 2

Put Strawberry Chex cereal in your melted Chocolate mixture. Mix carefully not to break the cereal. Stir until evenly coated.

  3. Step 3

Pour your powder sugar over your strawberry chex cereal, chocolate mixture. Stir in. Or you can put it in a big zip lock bag and shake it until coated.

  4. Step 4

You now have a great party mix. It's ready to take to your parties or simply eat at home just because it's good.

  5. Step 5

You can put into gift bags and give it away. I'm doing all three :+)
