Stuff a Christmas Stocking
Stuff a Christmas Stocking

For all those Christmas lovers who are new at the christmas wrapping, stocking stuffing bits, here are some tips on how to stuff a Christmas Stocking.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Stocking
  • Candy
  • Presents
  • Card
  1. Step 1

The first thing you'll want to do is get some Christmas candy. The traditional flavors are chocolate and peppermint, but by all means be creative! Some suggestions: Hershey kisses, peppermint sticks/canes, chocolate oranges, peppermint bark, etc. You can fill the toe of the stocking with something big like a chocolate orange or a box of candy and fill the rest of the foot with the individual goodies.

  2. Step 2

The traditional charm of the bulging stocking usually comes from the brilliant idea of filling the leg of the stocking with small Christmas gifts that would otherwise get lost under the Christmas tree. Stock the stocking well by filling the leg with small packages or over large goodies. This makes the stocking look full and very appealing to the stocking receiver.

  3. Step 3

Now that your stocking is full and attractively stuffed, the nice last touch - or icing on the cake, if you will - is the small, loving, and personal Christmas card sticking out among the goodies or laid gently over the top of the stocking. Then viola! You have stuffed yourself a perfect and more than satisfactory Christmas Stocking.

Tips & Warnings
  • It might also be a good idea to add some wholesome, healthy treats inside the stocking as well. You'll remember how great it feels to have those wholesome hard boiled eggs at Easter after you've made yourself sick on all the dove chocolates and marshmallows. Adding some nice healthy snacks like sesame sticks or olives usually does the trick.
