How to Become Santa's Favorite Helper

Santa Claus is indeed real. Saint Nicholas aka 'Santa Claus' was a Greek Bishop in 4th century Turkey who became the patron Saint of children. One legend has it that a poor man at that time was unable to provide dowries for his three daughters and Saint Nicholas, under the cover of night, threw three purses filled with gold coins down the man's chimney, which fell into the socks that were hung above the embers to dry.

Things You'll Need:

  • A Good Heart
  • Christmas Spirit
  • Belief in Santa Claus
  1. Step 1

Concentrate more on the giving during the Christmas holidays than on the receiving. It is a gift in itself to be able to give to others. These gifts do not need to be materialistic. Giving of your time and heart are even more valuable.

  2. Step 2

Be an anonymous giver. Not taking credit for giving gifts is a true art in gifting. By giving anonymously, you are placing the emphasis on the recipients happiness and fulfillment and not your own.

  3. Step 3

Take time to visit with others who are less fortunate than you this year. Christmas is traditionally a time to spend with friends and family but for many people find themselves lonelier than ever during the holiday season. You can make a true difference in someone's life just by spending some time with them.

  4. Step 4

Encourage others to believe in Santa Claus - both young and old. Saint Nicholas aka 'Santa' stood for something priceless; caring for the poor and the children of this world. He was always willing to put others before himself. That is why his spirit lives on to this day.
