Things You'll Need:
- A Good Heart
- Christmas Spirit
- Belief in Santa Claus
-
Step 1
Concentrate more on the giving during the Christmas holidays than on the receiving. It is a gift in itself to be able to give to others. These gifts do not need to be materialistic. Giving of your time and heart are even more valuable.
-
Step 2
Be an anonymous giver. Not taking credit for giving gifts is a true art in gifting. By giving anonymously, you are placing the emphasis on the recipients happiness and fulfillment and not your own.
-
Step 3
Take time to visit with others who are less fortunate than you this year. Christmas is traditionally a time to spend with friends and family but for many people find themselves lonelier than ever during the holiday season. You can make a true difference in someone's life just by spending some time with them.
-
Step 4
Encourage others to believe in Santa Claus - both young and old. Saint Nicholas aka 'Santa' stood for something priceless; caring for the poor and the children of this world. He was always willing to put others before himself. That is why his spirit lives on to this day.
