Step 1
First of all, prepare an eating plan for the pineapple diet covering the next 7-10 days. The pineapple diet is meant to be a supplemental diet, not the only thing you eat for weeks on end.

Step 2
Plan on three small meals and two snacks (snacks are all pineapple) a day. Eating smaller meals frequently is part of the pineapple diet, and common diet knowledge.

Step 3
Choose the two days a week that will be your "all pineapple days." Basically on these days you eat pineapple and water and that's it, before going back to a normal eating plan. These days should not be consecutive.

Step 4
It takes a lot of will power, but keep with it, and if you're eating reasonable low fat, low calorie meals along with the water and pineapple, you should see results fairly quickly.

on 8/20/2009 Great article, I think it's great you recommend eating food along with doing the pineapple diet. Too many people try to eat just the one or two items in a special 'diet', which is unsound.
