Great idea on playing with your active 22 month old toddler using a parachute or a blanket game. At 22 months old, a toddler is learning to following directions.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Parachute or Blanket, Stuffed Animals, Balls
  1. Step 1

Your 22 month old toddler will love playing with a parachute game. If you do not have an actual play parachute, take a blanket, towel or throw and use it as a parachute.

  2. Step 2

Add stuffed animals in the middle of the parachute and have your toddler help you with the blanket to move it up and down.

  3. Step 3

Hold one end of the parachute and have your toddler hold the other end. Make sure the parachute is not too loose or too tight. With your arms show your toddler how to move the parachute up and down. If you have another adult to join in, this will work better.

  4. Step 4

Your toddler will enjoy seeing the stuffed animals bouncing about. Try it with bouncing soft, plastic balls and other safe toys.

Tips & Warnings
  • Involve your friends for more fun!
  • Please do not add hard toys in the parachute as it may hit yourself or your toddler.
