A relationship needs loving the way you and your partner do--and here's a personal trick: a notebook. This is the how-to for keeping the love alive, fresh, and deeper than ever. Thanks to my love for being so creative.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Notebook
  • Pen
  • Inspiration
  1. Step 1

Get a beautiful notebook. Grab a good pen. Let's start. The idea here is to write to your significant other, through loving words, about anything positive in your relationship. It could be a little tid-bit on something you love they do, something you love about them, or something you would love to do together.

  2. Step 2

Write one piece and one only--you'll see why in a minute. Don't be afraid to doodle, write backwards, upside down and around. This notebook should be for you two only--only your eyes and his/hers, so write your heart out. Sign your name.

  3. Step 3

Give to your partner. While you're waiting to get it back with their piece written to you inside, keep an eye out for inspiration. Let the notebook go back and forth at least once a week between you. It's an easy, inspiring trick to keeping the love. Hope you enjoy.

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't be judgmental--let the other (and yourself!) feel comfortable writing
  • A notebook is not a substitute for showing your love in person, it's a side dish. Eat up! :)
