Cook My Cavatini (Yummmmm)

For this article, I will explain how to make my Cavatini. For those of you who may not know what it is, I have only two things to say - One: I feel sorry for you - And Two: Hopefully I can help you change that today!! This is a MUST TRY!!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 1/2 lbs. hamburger
  • 1 large can (29 oz) of Hunts tomato sauce
  • 1/4 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 4 Tbsp Sugar
  • 3-4 shakes Cayenne Pepper
  • 5 dashes Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 pkg Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 - 1 lb. box (San Giorgio) Trio Italian Pasta
  1. Step 1

First, brown the hamburger and crumble - then drain the grease off. Next, add all of the ingredients (SHOWN IN "Things You'll Need" LIST) to the hamburger - BUT NOT THE CHEESE AND PASTA - and bring to boil - then, turn down to simmer.

  2. Step 2

Boil the pasta according to the directions and then drain. Add the sauce to the pasta and stir well - add 1/2 of the Mozzarella Cheese and stir well until the cheese is melted.

  3. Step 3

Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top, and cover until melted - I usually just place it in the oven to melt the cheese on the top.

  4. Step 4

Enjoy another one of my great recipes!! This is AWESOME FOOD man - you HAVE to try this!!!

on 6/8/2009 This is a cool recipe. It sounds like a quick fix seeing as you don't have to spend all day cooking your sauce. Sounds good, I'll have to try it.
