Things You'll Need:
- 1 stick of Margarine
- 1 cup Peanut Butter (Smooth)
- 3/4 lb. Powdered Sugar
- 1/2 cup Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 2 Tbsp Shortening (Crisco)
-
Step 1
First, soften the butter in the microwave. When done, get a large mixing bowl. Add the softened butter, the peanut butter, and the sugar. Mix well it well - you should use your hands to mix this - it works better that way. Now, form them into balls, then place in the refrigerator for 1 day.
-
Step 2
TO MAKE THE CHOCOLATE COATING: Read step 3 - I have divided them to make it easier to read - not all bunched up, you know?
-
Step 3
Melt the chips and the shortening in a small pan on the stove, and dip the balls into the chocolate, using a toothpick to hold them. This is why you should let them harden for 1 day. Place them on waxed paper to cool, so they don't stick. I cool mine in the fridge until they set.
-
Step 4
Enjoy your yummy Buckeyes!!!!
