Get rid of Hiccups

Have you ever noticed how the remedies you used to get rid of the hiccups when you were a child no longer work? This remedy for getting rid of hiccups is one my spouse invented and it has worked for me every single time.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • a bed
  1. Step 1

As soon as you get the hiccups, go to your favorite bed. Lie across the bed on your stomach. Hang your head over the edge of the bed. Let your arms dangle downward. Lie in as comfortable a position as you are able to. It may take a few minutes, but usually works rather quickly.

  2. Step 2

I have found that if I delay applying the remedy when I have the hiccups, it takes longer to get rid of them. It is best to go to your bed immediately for the best result.

  3. Step 3

If you are at work, go to the lounge or somewhere where there is a sofa and apply the same technique.

  4. Step 4

If your hiccups don't go away within a minute or two, take a deep breath and hold it for as long as you can. On rare occasions, you may have to repeat this step twice.
