Merry Christmas!

Having trouble trying to find great stocking stuffers? This article will give you some tips and ideas to make the perfect stocking that will bring a smile Christmas morning.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • stocking
  • wrapping paper (optional)
  • pen and paper to jot down on ideas
  • cash to purchase gifts
  • an imagination
  1. Step 1

I am sure you have very different people in your family and stockings are a great way to appreciate their different personalities. Write a list of who you will be making stockings for and then focus on the personality of that person.

  2. Step 2

For men, think about his personality... is he a hunter/fisher active type? Check out items such as swiss army knives, beanie hats, under armour, etc. For the gamer, a video game or two will fit in there (this goes for DVDs and cds too), you can also put tickets to a movie, a game or show in the stocking. Of course, you will want to put some gag gifts in there too! Don't forget chocolates for the sweet tooth!

  3. Step 3

For women, most love receiving bath salts, shower gels and candles at Christmas. These items will fit in stockings and you can even make a theme out of the stocking. For the active woman you can put things like pedometers, stop watches, etc. You can also put small picture frames, love letters, perfume, her favorite candy... be creative with it.

  4. Step 4

For children, there are so many smaller toys on the market and for older children MP3 players will fit into the stocking comfortably. As a child, the stockings were my favorite part of Christmas morning. I loved ripping through my stocking Christmas morning with my brother and sister. For added fun, wrap the gifts in the stockings so it adds to the excitement. Be sure to put all of their favorite treats in there!
