You can drink to lose weight if you drink the right things. Losing weight seems to be on everyone's mind. Besides watching what you eat, you can drink certain things to help with the weight loss process. Follow these steps to drink to lose weight by drinking the right things.

  1. Step 1

    Green tea is know to help in the struggle to lose weight. It can help you by raising your metabolism. What many people don't know is that it contains catechins, a polyphenolic antioxidant. This has anti-inflammatory properties. How that helps you with weight loss is this, anti-inflammatories help you have less pain when working out. There is also evidence that catechins possibly help prevent fat storage.

  2. Step 2

    You see and hear about Acai everywhere for a reason. It is loaded with anitoxidants. These are good for you because they not only slow disease, they can help you increase your stamina. Besides, it tastes good! Just because you drink to lose weight doesn't mean it has to taste bad.

  3. Step 3

    Be sure to drink plenty of low or no fat milk. Calcium is important to weight loss and can reduce the amount of fat your body stores.

  4. Step 4

    Drink plenty of water so that you keep hydrated. You will tire more easily if you are not hydrated. Try some of the no cal flavored waters to help you drink more. Select one with some nutrients and vitamins for a added benefit.

  5. Step 5

    Try drinking drinks with added fiber. It helps you to feel fuller, eat less and therefore lose weight.

  6. Step 6

    Drink protein drinks, but watch the calories. Protein is essential to a healthy weight loss program. It helps build muscle, keeps you full longer and digests slower.
