Things You'll Need:
- 2 packages of bittersweet baking chocolate (Baker's brand recommended)
- 1 8-ounce package of cream cheese (regular or lowfat)
- Colored sugar, chocolate sprinkles or chopped nuts for garnish

Step 1
Bring cream cheese to room temperature. Beat cream cheese with mixer until creamy. Melt eight bittersweet chocolate squares and blend into the whipped cream cheese. Refrigerate chocolate-cream cheese mixture for about a half hour or until firm.

Shape Chocolate Mixture into BallsShape chocolate-cream cheese mixture into balls (about 36). Place on parchment or waxed paper-lined baking sheet.

Melt remaining chocolate over double-boiler or in microwave. Use fork to dip truffles. Return to baking sheet. Top with colored sugar, chocolate sprinkles or chopped nuts for garnish. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

Beautiful and Tasty GiftsOptional: Line a plain candy box (can be purchased at a cooking supply store) with paper or foil cup cake liners. Place chocolate truffles inside liners. Wrap candy box with a pretty ribbon, and you have a beautiful and tasty gift.
