So--you have joined a Fantasy Football League. Built your team and are ready to PLay. There are numerous opinions on "Surefire" methods of winning. However, I am going to share with you a "Proven" and "Effective" way to LOSE! How can I be sure of these methods? Simple-I entered 3 Leagues, and made it to the Playoffs in all 3-before I developed this Strategy! As further proof--I was "Heavily"favored to Win--Boy did I show them!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

The Waiver Wire: A couple days a week, I would spend a little time checking out the Waivers--just to see who was avaliable--maybe an upgrade over a player I may already have, or just an addition in case someone got injured. Late in the season "As I was Steamrolling" over everyone, I no longer found this neccessary. Why? because I had a group of "Top" players already (Though some were slightly injured), and had bad Matchups in the upcoming weeks. Injured and bad matchups--a sure formula for disaster.

  2. Step 2

Weather: Yes--weather has a great deal to do with whom to start. Keeping an eye on the weather, helped me choose who to start or not. Cold, High Winds, Snow, favor the running game. I steered away from checking the weather my players were playing in, This allowed my Quaterback (The great Passer) to throw incredible passes that resembled air balloons being thrown to the children in the stands. On occasion, He would throw a perfect pass (Shame the guy who caught it--was on the other team)

  3. Step 3

You Gut Feelings: I know--not very scientific, however it worked for me (at first). Sit-em or Start-em---that's the question. The Guru's express their opinions on who may have the best matchups and who does not. I paid a little attention to the Guru's Pick's, however on numerous occasions, I stuck by "My Gutt" feelings and started the Player with the so-called (Bad-Matchup). This worked well for me, until I made the Playoffs. Once it got to be a serious game I decided to go with the opinions of someone with a little more knowledge. Bingo-I didn't follow my Gut, let other people make my decisions, set aside the practises that had gotten me that far---and lost.

  4. Step 4

If you are willing to forget making improvement to your line-up, can resist that urge to use logic (as stated above about the weather). Can take the reccomendations of others (With Blind-Faith), not go against the tide of common belief---You to, can be successful at losing at Fantasy Football--Among other things!
