More and more people are having a hard time falling asleep and/or staying asleep during the night. After a long day, you would think there would not be a problem falling asleep, but many do. There are measures you could take, naturally, no sleeping pills that could help.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • contoured neck pillow
  • lavender pillow mist
  • chamomile with honey (optional) to drink
  • white noise player
  1. Step 1

To get a good night's sleep you have to clear your head. It may sound easier said than done, but you can do it! Do not think of bills, children, the day you had, the day you will have tomorrow, put everything out of your mind. Imagine yourself on a desert island, laying on the sand, the warm wind gently blowing your hair across your face. Relax.

  2. Step 2

Get your neck contoured pillow and spray it with the lavender mist, or whatever scent relaxes you (lavender has calming qualities). Make a cup of decaf tea, I find chamomile to be the best for me, with a teaspoon of honey stirred in and breathe in the steam as you drink it.

  3. Step 3

Turn on your white noise maker (optional). Turn off all lights and let your mind drift in a calm and serene sleep.

Tips & Warnings
  • Do not drink alcohol or eat late at night before going to sleep
  • Don't exercise before bed time
