The art of creating a perfect bubble bath, has more to do with the atmosphere than the bath itself. The key is in pleasing the bath taker.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Bath tub
  • Hot Water
  • Bubbles
  • Candles
  • Soothing music or good book
  • scented bath oils
  • Epsom Salt (optional)
  1. Step 1

Fill bath tub with only hot water and pour 1/4 cup of bubbles in the tub. Keep watch that the bubbles don't overflow. The cheaper the bubbles, the more you need.

  2. Step 2

While the tub is filling, light candles. You only need enough light to see where you're going, but not so much that you remember where you are. This would also be the time to turn on soothing music. If reading a book, use more candles.

  3. Step 3

Once the tub is filled, put 5 drops of scented oil in various spots of the water. Place book (if reading one) and huge fluffy towel within arms length. The worst part of getting into a tub, is having to get out again.

  4. Step 4

Get into the tub, sit back and relax.

Tips & Warnings
  • If bubbles are too much of a hassle, forego and just use the oils or Epsom Salt.
  • The key to the hot water, is to prepare while the water is filling so that it is just right by the time you're ready to get in it.
  • Use one tablespoon of bubbles if the tub has jets. The jets make the bubbles multiply so rapidly, you could end up spending all night cleaning a huge mess instead of relaxing.
