These are great gift ideas that won't break the bank. Perfect for coworker gifts, neighbors, friends and even family.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

A few small items can add up to one great gift. For the gardener a few seed packets placed in a flower pot is great. You can even add the dirt into the pot which will help hold the seed packets. There are many inexpensive small clay pots at your local home improvement or dollar stores. Ad a pretty ribbon and this becomes an attractive gift.

  2. Step 2

Another option is to grow your own plants, flowers herbs or produce. This will take some time so you may want to start planning this now for future gifts. Any of these would be a great gift in an inexpensive pot.

  3. Step 3

Photos make great gifts. Arrange photos of friends of family in an inexpensive album or place in frames. You can even decorate these yourself with items found at your local craft store.

  4. Step 4

Buy an inexpensive mug and fill it with a few hot cocoa packets or an assortment of tea bags. You can also add some inexpensive candy, wrap it in cellophane and finish off with a bow. To get the items to stand up in the mug use crumpled paper in the bottom to create height and add a little clear tape to hold your items in place.

  5. Step 5

Give homemade cookies or other treats. You can put these in a tin, decorative box or wrap in cellophane and place in a basket.

  6. Step 6

Check with your local dollar or discount store. They often have many small items you can put together to make a nice gift. In the winter they often have knit gloves, hats and scarves for $1.00 a piece. These make great gifts.

  7. Step 7

Use your imagination, with a little creativity you can make all sorts of common everyday items into great gifts. People will appreciate the time you put into them as well. It really is the thought that counts.

  8. Step 8
