Save Money and Make Homemade Baby Wipes

Do you know someone who will be having a baby soon? Will there be a baby in your home or is there already? Homemade baby wipes are a joy to make, gentle on baby’s bottom and they save money.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Cylindrical Plastic Container
  • 1 Roll of Paper Towels (Heavy Duty Paper Towels are the best choice)
  • 2 T Baby Bath
  • 2 Cups Water
  • 1 T Baby Oil
  1. Step 1

Using a very sharp knife, cut the heavy duty roll of paper towels in half.

  2. Step 2

Mix together the 2 T Baby Bath, 1 T Baby Oil and 2 C Water.

  3. Step 3

Place one of the newly cut rolls of paper towels into the plastic container. Reserve the other roll for your next roll of baby wipes.

  4. Step 4

Pour mixture over paper towels and snap lid into place. Wait about ten minutes. This will give the paper towels time to absorb the mixture.

  5. Step 5

Carefully remove the inner cardboard core from the paper towels. This will bring the innermost piece of paper towel up or make it easier for you to grab. This should continuously feed itself as you use the wipes.

on 1/6/2009 Great idea! Makes a lot of sense. A little addition of essential oil of lavender and orange would also help make it smell great and be healing too.
