Getting rid of acne with toothpaste can be a messy process. Get an old towel, one you don't mind getting messy. Lay it over your pillow.

Pull all of your hair back. You need to have it away from your face. You'll have to shower afterward anyway, but it's best not to make too much of a mess.

While facing a mirror, spread a moderately thick layer of toothpaste over your face. Be careful of eyes and nostril area. This will burn a bit, especially the first time. Any areas with lots of pimples may need a second layer.

There are two options after initial application. If you can, sleep all night with toothpaste on, hence the need for the old towel. It will be messy and not fun, and the toothpaste will tighten over night. This should only be done if you have a severe case of acne. Otherwise, leave toothpaste on for one hour.

Repeat this once or twice a week. Toothpaste will dry out your skin, so don't do this frequently.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be prepared for mess.
  • Be very careful of eyes and nostrils, toothpaste burns.
  • Make sure you use toothpaste and not a gel.
  • Only do this once to twice a week.
