How to Choose The Right Eyeshadow Shade for Grey Eyes
Gray eyes are unusual, and the best way to enhance them is with the right eyeshadow shade. Eyeshadow should be chosen to make your eyes stand out and not chosen based on the color of your outfit. Bear in mind your skin tone and hair color, as well as your gray eyes, in choosing the right eye makeup. Do not be afraid of experimenting until you find your perfect shades. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Two complementary colors combined stand out. Choose a complementary color on the opposite side of the color wheel from gray to make your eyes pop out. Deep browns and purple would work well.
-
2
Consider your skin tone. A lighter skin tone should have an eyeshadow that is lighter in tone, while darker skin needs an eyeshadow of similar tone. For example, if you are light skinned with gray eyes, choose a light purple or light brown.

3
Brush on slate eyeshadow for a neutral daytime eyeshadow shade and add copper across the crease line with an eyeshadow brush. Metallic colors such as copper accentuate gray eyes. Though you want your eyes to stand out, a color that matches your eyes, such as slate, is a neutral base for a day natural look. Use your index finger to gently rub the colors together so it is softened.

4
Remove excess eyeshadow underneath the eyes with a sponge concealer applicator. If necessary, dip the sponge applicator in a small amount of concealer if you have excess eyeshadow underneath the eyes.
-
5
Wear violet eyeshadow for a smoky nighttime look and add black eyeliner across the lid of the eyes to make your gray eyes stand out strongly. Rub the black eyeliner to decrease the harshness of the line.
-
6
Choose soft skin tone color for days when you want a natural look. Be sure it is light so you do not overpower the lightness of your eye color. Examine your skin color in daylight outside and select an eyeshadow that is slightly darker.
