I am a huge fan of tuna, and I adore something with a little bit of a kick . So if you are up to make a little spice at the dinner table or at your party, I highly recommend this recipe.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 3oz package of cream cheese.
  • 3tbls. mayo or salad dressing
  • 1tsp. paprika
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 clove of finely mined garlic or 1/8 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp of ground red pepper
  • 1 6 1/2 oz of can tuna drained
  • 1/4 c finely chopped red or green sweet peppers
  • 2 tbs finely minced onion
  1. Step 1

First thing you want to do ,is make sure you have all your ingredients. I tend to always to forget something at the store , so double check. This will save many headaches later.

  2. Step 2

Mix the softened cream cheese, mayo , paprika , black pepper, and garlic in a medium size bowel . Blend this very very well.

Add the peppers and onions a little at a time to get a very good over all mix. Fold this into the tuna till blended very well.

  3. Step 3

Simple ! Now chill for about 3 hours or more . This makes 1 1/2 cups of spread , so keep in mind , if you are having over many people to double up . I love this recipe because it is so versatil , you can spread it on bread , or crackers and it is even a great dip for chips. I will often serve on a platter with black olives, crackers , chips and cheese. I never have any left over . A big hit for family gatherings.

Tips & Warnings
  • Fresh ingredients , as always is the best way to get that wonder flavor.
  • Please always use dolphin safe tuna, also remember this dish can have a bit of heat to it , so keep that in mind if you have sensitive tummies around.
