Things You'll Need:
- Lot's of videos
- Good books
- Company
- Cooking utensils
- A phone
- A warm coat, gloves, hat, and boots
-
Step 1
Usually you have some warning that a snowstorm is going to hit. Stock up on your favorite videos and books to keep you occupied. Go to the video store and the library
-
Step 2
It's important to do a variety of things. Just sitting on the coach watching videos or TV all day isn't the only solution. Alternate with a good book.
-
Step 3
Pull out your cookbooks and start baking or making something that you've always wanted to make for dinner but have never tried.
-
Step 4
Connect to the real world. This is the perfect time of year to connect with old friends by calling them. It will help pull you out of the doldrums.
-
Step 5
Bundle up and go for a walk with family members or by yourself if you're single. Just because you can't drive doesn't mean you can't enjoy the snow. Exercising will rejuvenate you and give you more energy.
