Determine the location where you want to mount a plasma TV in the corner. Take into consideration where your cables and power will be coming from.
-
2
There are wall mounts for plasma TV's that are designed specifically for mounting in corners. Be sure to use one of these and not just a regular wall mount.
-
-
3
Install the portion of the mount that attaches to the wall or ceiling. Be sure to attach it to a stud or rafter to insure that it will hold the weight safely. Follow the product directions. It is imperative to insure that the wall portion is level, be sure to use a level.
-
4
Following the directions provided, attach the mount to the plasma TV.
-
5
This step is if you are planning to run the cables and wires behind the drywall to hide them. Cut a hole in the drywall behind the TV so that it will be hidden. Consider what can be seen when seated and looking at the TV. To do this you can temporarily hang the television.
-
6
Cut a hole in the bottom of the drywall near the floor for the cable and wire to come out.
-
7
Hang the television on the corner wall mount, connect the cables, plug in your plasma TV and enjoy your handy work.
