How to Use a Splitter to Hook Up the DirecTV DVR

How to Use a Splitter to Hook Up the DirecTV DVR thumbnail
Connect multiple televisions to your DirecTV DVR receiver with the aid of coaxial cables.

A DirecTV DVR alllows you to record programming directly from your satellite service. The DVR is built right into the receiver so you do not need to connect two different devices together. If you want to watch recorded content on two different televisions at the same time you need to split off the DirecTV DVR signal with a splitter. This sends the audio and video information to a second television.
