  • 1 pound fresh green beans
  • 2 cups canned chicken broth
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can of French fried onion rings
  1. Step 1

    Step one in making your green bean casserole with this recipe is to cook the green beans in the chicken broth either for 10 minutes in a pressure cooker or about 30 minutes on top of the stove, until they are as tender as you like when pierced with a fork. then drain the green beans.

  2. Step 2

    Step two in cooking your Green Bean Casserole with an easy recipe like this one, is to mix together the milk, pepper and soup and combine with the green beans.

  3. Step 3

    Then, pour into a 1 ½ quart casserole that has been sprayed with Pam. Bake @ 350* for 30 minutes.

  4. Step 4
