How to Eat for Younger Looking Skin

With so many different skin creams on the market, one would think the way to younger looking skin starts from the outside. While skin creams can make your skin appear more youthful to a certain extent, what you put inside your body is just as important when it comes to how your skin looks. The foods you eat can make your skin look sallow and old or healthfully glowing and youthful. What you eat will determine which look you're aiming for. To help you obtain younger and healthy looking skin, apply the steps below.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Eat an egg omelet. Foods that contain zinc, such as eggs, aid in the production of collagen and contribute to skin elasticity. You can also get your share of zinc by eating lima beans, cashews, pecans, almonds, and ginger root.

  2. Step 2

    Eat fruits such as oranges, grapefruits, kiwis and strawberries as they contain vitamin C. Vitamin C will help to firm your skin. Two vegetables that contain vitamin C are bell peppers and broccoli.

  3. Step 3

    Eat orange vegetables such as carrots and sweet potatoes that contain vitamin A. Spinach also contains vitamin A, which helps to foster healthy and young looking skin.

  4. Step 4

    Eat salmon and nuts so your skin will look firmer and well hydrated.

  5. Step 5

    Put some extra-virgin olive oil in your food for healthy looking skin.

  6. Step 6

    Drink eight glasses of water a day or more to make your skin cells plump up. You will see your wrinkles smooth out when you drink enough water.

  • Eat the above mentioned foods in moderation. Too much of any food can be detrimental to your health.
